Mmm, wasn't Pierre Salinger nominated for passing along the
"TWA Flight 800 Downed by US Military" Usenet rumor to the FBI
and the news media?

This is an important nomination. If Salinger wins, you can send out
a KotM press release, and the Daemons will probably end up with their
own show on MSNBC.

As a nomination for "Hook, Line and Sinker!", it would be *perfect*!

For someone to believe such obvious tosh sufficiently to risk their 
reputation (?) by passing it onto the news media as if it were actual fact, 
ably demonstrates gullibility bordering on total stupidity!

Does anyone have any ideas as to who started that silly rumor?
