<h1> rec.arts.comics.reviews </h1>

<p> rec.arts.comics.reviews is a moderated Usenet newsgroup for reviews of
comic books and related media.  The group is currently moderated by <a
href="/~tskirvin/">Tim Skirvin</a>. </p>

<h3> Newsgroup </h3>

<p> RACR should be available through most major Usenet providers.  If you
need access to the group through other means, you can use news.killfile.org 
either through standard NNTP (news.killfile.org, port 119) or through the 
<a href="http://news.killfile.org/?group=rec.arts.comics.reviews">web
interface</a>; or you can use <a 
href="http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.comics.reviews">Google Groups</a>.
</p>

<h3> Moderation Policies </h3>

<p> rec.arts.comics.reviews is run by a moderation 'bot written by <a
href="/~tskirvin/">Tim Skirvin</a> named "The Phantom ModBot".  The 'bot
runs a few checks before posting: </p>

<ul>
 <li> Messages must come from an approved poster; please contact <a
	href="/~tskirvin/">Tim Skirvin</a> if you would like to post regular
	reviews to the group. </li>
 <li> Messages may be crossposted to no more than five newsgroups, and 
	each of these groups must be pre-approved.  Followups must be set 
	to only one newsgroup, preferably in rec.arts.comics.*. </li> 
</ul>

<p> New reviewers are always welcome!  Please contact Tim for details.
