For years, I have worn buttons. The time has come to begin to archive what buttons they are, and when they appeared. So, here we go, in my best HTML-based renditions...
Current Buttons
These are the buttons that I'm currently wearing, starting from my upper-left and going down and around to my upper-right.

Past Buttons
This is only a listing of a few. I hope to increase these numbers over time. (Note that the inconsistent formatting will probably be taken care of in the future.)
Dated
These are the ones that I know the dates that I wore them. I only started keeping track in May 2002, however.

Undated
At this point, these are some of my favorite buttons from the era before I started keeping track of the dates. I'm sure this will grow over time, though.

Lanyards
These are the lanyards I've worn through the years.- Elite Sports Lanyard Plus model B82 (black/yellow/orange/blue) - 5mm lanyard w/detachable end. Bought from EK. I started wearing it recently so I could switch between lanyards at will for a while; I need more talismans. (2003/12/04-)
- Sports Lanyard Plus model B92 (black/yellow/orange/blue) - 5mm lanyard w/detachable end. Bought from EK. It's still in good shape, and I may wear it again at some point. (2003/08/04-2003/12/03)
- Sports Lanyard Plus 2 model B3 (red and black) - 5mm lanyard w/2 detachable ring ends. I never did figure out what to do with the second end. It now lives on my door, protecting my room in my absence. Bought from EK. (2003/05/14-2003/07/04)
- Sports Lanyard Plus model B42 (navy blue) - 5mm lanyard with detachable end. It was donated by an America West employee in San Diego, and it lasted for quite a long time. It hangs on the third board. (2001/07/23-2003/05/14)
- Sports Lanyard model C81 (Dk Purple/Brown/Mauve) - 5mm lanyard w/ring, with attached Clip Cat model B40 (Earth Rainbow) - 15mm braid detachable key holder. Later split. Bought from Champaign Surplus. Both parts are on the second board. (2000/04/07-2001/07/23)
- Thin Sports Lanyard Plus model B83 (Earth Brass/Black) - 3mm lanyard w/detachable end. On the second board. This replaced another broken one. Bought from Champaign Surplus. (1999/??/??-2000/04/06)
- Thin Sports Lanyard Plus model B66 (Rasta) - 3mm lanyard w/detachable end. On the second board. I wore it after the previous one broke. Bought from Champaign Surplus. (1999/??/??-1999/??/??)
- Sports Lanyard Plus model B63 (Brown/Lt Blue/Gold) - 5mm lanyard w/detachable end. On the third board. Bought from Champaign Surplus. (1998/01/01-1999/??/??)
- Sports Lanyard Plus model B82 (Forest/Burgundy/Earth Brass) - 5mm lanyard w/detachable end. On the second board. I put this one on a month after my first major crisis of faith. (1997/01/01-1997/12/??)
- Sports Lanyard model C35 (Royal/Maroon/Teal) - 5mm lanyard w/ring. This was the first lanyard I wore (1995/08/23-1996/12/03), having bought it at Champaign Surplus just before starting college. Hanging on the third board.
- I've got two spare lanyards in a drawer waiting to be used.
- Sports Lanyard Plus model B85 (Purple/Orange/White) - 5mm lanyard w/detachable end. Bought from EK.
- Elite Sports Lanyard Plus model B78P (Forest Green w/Brass Clip) - 5mm lanyard w/detachable end. Bought from EK.

The Button Boards
I've got three towels full of buttons that I've previously worn. I plan to list them all off some day, probably with pictures. But not yet.

Updates
2003/08/04 - the complete list of lanyards is complete. I'm also wearing a new one, having taken the previous one off a month ago.
2003/02/09 - I'm now trying to make HTML/ASCII representations of all of the buttons I wear. I may go back and do some more some day. I like the new layout, though...
2003/01/06 - I'm currently trying to change a button every work day, mostly on my right side. I've gotta get through a *lot* of buttons. 'Twas a New Year's Resolution...
2002/08/24 - I've taken pictures of the buttons, and they're on here. Not much to say about 'em. I hope to take more later, when I have time (*laugh*).
2002/04/21 - Well, it's been more than a year since I've touched this page, and it's about time to list some stuff off. For starters, I'm currently wearing a lanyard I got from an America West Airlines employee back in July 2001, coming back from the San Diego ComiCon. It was a good trip, and it's holding up quite well. I have been wearing it essentially non-stop since that time, even though I've gone through my share of grief in the last few months that would normally cause me to take it off. This time, though, I didn't feel strong enough to do without the lanyard for any length of time; instead, I just covered it up for about a month, from 2002/01/05 - 2002/02/11. But it came back, and it was in many ways never gone. Anyway, I also have several spare lanyards now, and I plan to start working on this page for real sometime soon. Hopefully.
2001/01/03 - My cat, Sherlock, died today. To keep myself from going mad with grief, I'm not currently wearing my lanyard; it's doing the suffering for me. The lanyard may return someday, but not today.
2000/04/07 - Another note: I got a new lanyard on Friday (April 7th). It's pinkish, and therefore kindof ugly, but it's otherwise the same as the first one I got so many years ago. Otherwise, it has the same buttons as the last lanyard except that the ones on the back of the neck are gone. Whee.
2000/04/06 - Note: my lanyard broke last week, on the 30th of March. I'm still ticked off about it, but I'm wearing an old one now. The buttons have changed accordingly - now all I've got is WWID, Vertigo, the watch, the Valerie keychain, PROP, Save Gaming!, The Internet is Full, and a new Dave Wood for 104th District State Rep button (that one went on on the 3rd of April). On the back of the neck are the Peace Corps and a Superman buttons. This will change again soon.
