Threats from Todd H

My first notice of Todd for more than a year came in an email, sent by one of Todd's friends, saying that he didn't want his name or email address associated with my pages and "requesting" that I please take them off. Before I was able to say anything, I got mail from my postmaster stating that they had just received more complaints over this issue... Angrily (I hate it when people try to deal with me third-hand), I agreed to remove Todd's email address from the page, and thought that the issue was settled.

A few days later, I got mail from Todd himself, asking me to fully remove the page from my system. In so many words, I told him to shove it.

Fast forward a few weeks: due to continuing (unfounded) complaints that I had been issuing cancels in unmoderated newsgroups, I was called in to a meeting with several University officials (including Dean of Student Disciplinary Affairs Dick Justice, a female University Police officer whose name I don't remember, University counsel Margaret Rawles, and CCSO Assistant Director Ed Krol). After the (grueling and, IMO, dangerous) meeting, I asked Tina Gunzales (the one who had called the meeting) who had made the complaints. She said that it was Todd.

Todd, when informed of this, blew his top.

Over the next few days, we actually sortof got things settled between us - to a point. I agreed to remove his domain and last name from my pages, and he agreed to stop threatening me with civil and criminal lawsuits (harassment? Shyeah, right). Oh well, at least it's over...
