I do understand that's not the way you see it. I'm very sorry that's
not the way you see it- I've given considerable effort to convince you
to look at the situation another way. For myself, if I were you, I'd
sure see it as a censorship issue if:

1. The other person was making the subject the center of a public
Usenet toss-up.

2. The other person wanted public exposure of your removal of the
pages.

3. The other person demanded that *all* the pages be removed, or that
pages that don't refer to them be removed.

I've asked none of those things- matter of fact, I'm willing to work
with you to be certain that this does *not* become a public issue. As
for the pages about other people, I really don't care about them- they
don't come up when you're looking for me on the web. Also, many of them
have honestly begged for you to ensonce them in a page. I haven't- I've
left you alone, and removed myself from your 'turf' on the net. You
won- you got the marbles. All I ask is to not be punished for the rest
of my life for losing.

Do this- point your web browser to 'http://www.hotbot.com/'. Type 'Todd
H[]' into the search field, and press 'search'. I'd say it's
reasonable to ask that a page you've got that describes me as a moron
doesn't come up first on a search for my name. I personally think it's
reasonable to expect that such a page not come up at all in a search for
me or my pages.

You're quite versant in the ways of the Internet- find a way to have
your page such that they aren't found by searching for either my name or
by any variant of 'Deutsch xxxxxxxxx', 'xxxxxxxxx.com', or 'xxxxxxxxx'.
As a suggestion, changing the filenames (to blow the current search
engine links) and asking the webmaster to add a few lines in a
'norobots.txt' file on the root directory of the server will handle it.
It's not necessary to whack a whole site with a 'norobots' file, you can
protect individual pages. If you need help with that, I can provide the
exact lines for the file.

Realize that this is a compromise, as the pages will still exist. This
isn't what I want- I *am* meeting you halfway.

BTW, if you receive a call from the police, don't be too alarmed- filing
a complaint with them was a necessary first step in the legal process
that I am currently being forced to initiate- it was done after your
previous message, which seemed to indicate that you were unwilling to
discuss this further. At present, it can still be stopped before
charges are filed.
