Skirv and Chocolate

I generally don't like chocolate. I'm not sure what the story behind this is; however, it has been a real pain in the butt for the last many, many years. It started after Halloween 1979 (when I was 2) and Halloween 1980 (when I was 3), that's about all I know.

I do have a fair list of exceptions to this rule. In general, the rule is "if the chocolate flavor is strongly overpowered by some other flavor that I do like, it's okay". Some examples:

  • Chocolate mint: York Peppermint Patties, Junior Mints, and most other strong mints
  • Peanut flavored chocolate: Snickers, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut M+Ms
  • Those Chocolate Orange things.

    This has generally made my life more difficult, yes. Nobody can quite understand how to deal with someone that doesn't like chocolate. *shrug* What do you do? Encourage them to give you cheese, I guess...
