I decided to try my luck at actually photographing the fireworks this year. It went remarkably well; we had a good location (if a bit close; we got pummelled with pieces of cardboard from the sky throughout the event), the fireworks were very impressive this year, and it was even a reasonably cool evening out. The pictures themselves were taken with me experimenting with different shutter speeds and such as we went; the only consistent tools were the camera itself and the tripod.

I'm not going to bother labelling these pictures this year; I'm just going to put them up as-is.
