Beth and I claimed the Halloween party early this year - or at least we got the invitation out three hours before our first snailmail invites started arriving. Still, we were undaunted! It was an excellent party - the decorations looked good, the costumes were both better and nearly universal, and the turnout was quite good (~45). For good measure, we collapsed from exhaustion only after we'd cleaned up a good portion of it...
