Beth and I weren't able to throw any proper parties while we were in the
last year of our wedding planning, simply because we couldn't afford it.
Once that was done,
we were able to finally clean up the house and have some people over.
I believe that all of these pictures were taken with my 50mm f/1.8
lens, which I decided needed to be played with more. The latter pictures
are actually of the next couple of days.

Jesse and Tulip They were patiently waiting for the party to begin, little realizing that their role was to be exiled to the basement...
Tired Darren Poor Darren, he has to come to parties.
Beth She was expecting a typical party. Silly Beth!
Bill Preparing by reading 100 Bullets. It seemed like the best way.
Ray I don't think he was preparing at all. Just being there was enough to start with.
Tim and Tulip I love showing off how I can hold her on her back.
Tim and Squished Tulip She really doesn't mind it that much. So odd!
Beth, Again She was okay with the pictures today, happily.
Jim and Carissa Not quite their scene, but they were happy to show up for a while.
Dan I was happy to see Dan out in public; it had been a while.
Helen and Chrispie There for the board games? Perhaps, but they hadn't come out yet.
Tony Once again, he came separately from Pat.
Game Cabinet When we opened this up, the games started to flow in earnest.
Ticket to Ride We had three separate board game rooms going, all of them happy and busy.
Anna She didn't know too many people, but I was able to keep her entertained.
Eva Nice a bad picture of her.
Anna, Again I hope she had a good time.
Matt Rin's Husband. I'm glad Vered told me his name!
Rin and Matt Awww...
Rin and Matt, II It would have been better if I'd gotten a good kiss shot before the flash started working again. Oh well.
Flying Lance Way up on the ceiling!
Eva I don't know what she was worried about.
Wendy She got there fairly late, but she did come.
Cards Cards made life better for Beth, and made up for the number of board games being played.
Rob and Kris What movie were we watching, anyway?
Wendy, Patsy and Tulip Wendy brought over Patsy for movie night the next day.
Sneaky Tulip Tulip's number-one goal was to get the dog treats that had been brought for Patsy.
Annoyed Tulip Goal Number Two was to keep that dog away from her stuff - especially said dog treats.
Stare-Down I always love watching my seven-pound cat stare down a seventy-pound dog.
Back to Important Goals Everybody won in the end. Tulip beat up the dog; Patsy got some treats; and Wendy got a smaller dog later. Hooray for everybody!
