Paul and Rosemary's Going-Away Party - 19 Nov 2005

Paul Kennedy, one of our BISS sysadmins for several years, moved away to follow his partner, Rosemary, in Nov 2005. There had never been a proper going-away party for Rosemary either; and that was almost more worrisome, given that she was one of my sysadmins. So I made sure to attend the joint going-away party, which took place at the Bread Company. And now, months later, I'm finally getting the pictures up...

Images
Paul
It's a bit dark for the Guest Of Honor, but it's still the best shot I got of him. I don't think I was trying very hard that night.
Rosemary
Our Secondary Guest got a much better shot.
Paul and Andrew
Andrew was the Windows guy as Paul was the Unix guy in BISS.
Happy Reunion
Rosemary and Jordi seemed happy to see each other.
Dave
One of the three TCB folks to show up, besides me; given that he was Rosemary's office-mate for years, this wasn't that shocking.
TCB Gathering
Alek, Rosemary, Jordi and Dave talk about goings-on at the office.
Other Students
I don't really know who everybody was, but I liked the ability to get overhead shots.
More People I Don't Know
I'm sure that Rosemary will fill me in eventually.
Brynnen
One of the few other news administrators on campus. He too fears the flash.
Mingling
Quite a few people showed up to see them off, at least.
Mingling, II
I'd list everyone off, but I really don't know most of them.
Beth Mingling
I was glad to see that Beth could have a good time talking with people she didn't know at all...
Wine Cellar
There was a lot of wine behind that wall, but it was locked...
Broken Wine Cellar
...or was it? Jackpot!
Spoils of the Wine Cellar
This bottle held 5L of booze. That's a lot. Of course, it would have been better if I'd had some kind of scale in the image.
Taking Off
But it seemed right to get one more shot, for the road.
