When Sean and Sarah announced with about a week's notice that they were
going to host a barbecue at their place in October, I was a little bit
dubious; was I going to have time to make it? Would the weather hold?
It didn't take me too long to realize that I didn't care - I needed to go
up and see my good friends. It turned out that the weather was fine, and
I did have plenty of time, and all was well...

Let's Get This Party Started! It took a few hours after I arrived for the party to really get started in earnest, but it did happen.
Hostess Sarah Sarah always seems to enjoy being in the thick of things. (Michelle, Sarrah, Greg, Selena)
Emilija Having a young child around always makes parties more exciting.
Emilija, II Especially more exciting is how she was dumping apple cider on things!

Ingrida Val's kid's expression was actually pretty cool, in that "I'm going to explode" kind of way.
Anand Did I even have any decent pictures of Anand before this?
Eva, Profile Behold the shorter hair!
Sarah At this point, I believe that she was raving jealously over Eva's short hair.

Eva It is a good luck. I approve, Eva!
Selena One of Sean's newest co-workers, just come over from England. She seemed happy to meet an American that liked Terry Pratchett. I approved.
Neil Selena's boyfriend, and another Sean co-worker. Really, I was impressed with the whole batch of Sean's co-workers...
Neil and Selena The protective hovering was appropriate, given she'd only been in the States for a few days...
Greg Another worthwhile Sean co-worker. At the very least, it's fun to know that I can still rant about Engineering (and I was only an Electrical guy!)
Doug And one final Sean co-worker, who had recently finished a marathon. Whoo!
